TOM FORD EXPANDS HIS BEAUTY RANGE

September should see Tom Ford devotees rushing to the makeup counters as the range is set to expand featuring a complete collection of makeup, new fragrances and six skincare products.

The Private Blend lipstick will also expand, taking the range to 18 shades and there is also a mention of a repackage.
Products will be priced from $30 to $250 in the US, and sold exclusively in Tom Ford stores and Bergdorf Goodman, as well as select Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue doors.

Am super curious about the calligraphy brow pencils which Tom says allows the user to draw on individual hairs.
Wonder what his foundation will be like? Will have to wait till September to find out!

BENEFIT COSMETICS GIVEAWAY WITH GLAMOUR MAGAZINE

Apologies if this has been posted a bazillion times already but just a quick post to let you know that Glamour magazine are doing a fab Benefit giveaway this month!

If you purchase the mag you will get one of the cutest mini versions of Benetint, Posietint or High Beam! I have previously owned all three already so opted for Benetint as I spilt half of mine all over my bedspread a few years back now and love this product to bits.
Love Benetint as it's super flattering for the cheeks as well as on the lips and smells AMAZING.
The 4ml version is perfect size for carrying in your makeup bag, is made of plastic as oppose to glass and will last me a good 4 months me thinks.
Am sorely tempted to get a few more mags just so I can have more mini Benetints as backup...but then High Beam...see I haven't got any of that any more and I still have some of my Posietint left...*ponders*

Which one are you getting?

AHAVA: DEAD SEA MINERAL MAKEUP

I was recently given the opportunity to try a foundation from Ahava.

Not a brand that I am familiar with, Ahava's new makeup range contains minerals and algae from the Dead Sea, which contains the highest concentration of minerals in the world.

I was especially keen to try the liquid foundation, having only ever tried mineral powder foundations, and was kindly sent the light foundation to try.

An oil-free and scent-free (yay!) formulation I found that it applied with ease, blending in easily and giving a natural coverage to the complexion and evening out my skintone.
I didn't really have any expectations when I first received this and I've been pleasantly surprised with the formulation, loving that it's light on the skin, without feeling like I am wearing any foundation.

One thing I have discovered whilst using this is that powder blushers don't seem to blend especially well over this. Not really a problem for me as I love cream and liquid tints best, but for those of you who do it's worth noting!

Overall a foundation I will continue to use as it suits my sensitive skin without bringing up any breakouts :)

CATRICE NAIL POLISH HAUL!

Very quick blog post tonight as no sooner had I gotten back from Cornwall (arrived back in London on Wednesday), I then quickly hopped it on a plane to Brussels for a work meeting...only just got back.

So exhausted and craving relaxation in my own bed and home, so tonight I present you my very humble Catrice nail polish haul.
I've read a lot about how fab the formulations and colours are of these so can't wait to try them out!

Expect a few NOTD coming up :)

DRY HAIR? TRY THIS...

I've been sitting on this product for a while. One because I am pretty rubbish with hair treatments, and two, because my hair hasn't really needed any deep treatments of late.

Anyway...a few weeks ago I had a bit of a hair dye disaster...uneven and a patchy mess, I decided to try John Frieda's new foam hair dye, which whilst it did sort the problem out of patchy hair, it also left my locks a bit lack luster and dry.

In comes Philip Kingsley's Elasticizer.

Loved by many celebrities (Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Eva Green are fans) it's a PRE treatment which you apply to damp hair, leave on for 10-15 mins and shampoo & condition as normal.
I absolutely LOVE the fact that this is a pre-treatment, reasoning being is that as much as I love baths and showers, I'm not the sort to hang around in them for 15 minutes whilst my treatment does its thing.
Girls got things to do!
So yes...!

Tried this tonight as my hair has been slightly strawish and it's worked an absolute treat :) Hair feels silky and smooth again and just looks a heck of a lot better.

Prices start from £21.90 for 20ml, a bit of a pricy product but if you're finding your usual supermarket/chemist stuff isn't cutting it, I'd definitely recommend you try this one out for salon results.

NOTD: GRADATED PURPLE GLITTER TIPS

I seem to buy lots of nail polish, stash them away and consequently forget about them, such is the case with Nubar's Petunia Sparkle & Ciate "Shaken Not Stirred".
I've had these polishes for AGES and yesterday decided it was time to adorn them!

Using my Japanese Gradation Liquid (I know I know! Not done the comp yet!) I created the following look:

Shame you can't see the sparkle properly but am really rather pleased with the results :P

SUMMER BEAUTY: EOS LEMON LIPBALM WITH SPF

I love the Evolution of Smooth (EOS) lipbalms. The packaging is super appealing, especially as I can find it with ease in my hand bag! No more rummaging around the flosam and jetsam that are the contents of my bag.
My lovely work colleague picked me up the EOS lemon lip balm whilst on a trip to the States earlier in the year.
Perfect for the Summer, this fresh scented balm is formulated with spf15 to ensure your lips are well protected whilst out in the sun :)

Am not usually very keen on Lemon scented/flavoured lipbalms and this one took me a while to get use to. Was hoping it would be more like lemon sherbet but it's not as sweet!

Still...a lovely addition to my eos collection. Now I just need the tangerine one...

Which one is your favourite eos lipbalm? Leave a comment and let me know!

NOTD: FILTHY GORGEOUS LONDON AIR KISS

The formulations of these polishes last for AGES. Plus they truly mean it when they state that two coats is enough for full coverage. I often find myself applying three coats of most polishes but was very happy to find that I didn't have to do this with the Filthy Gorgeous polishes..woohoo!

Tonight's Nail of the Day is the bold and bright blue "Air Kiss".
