Last month I read an article in the London's Metro newspaper which literally made me laugh.
Just one tiny half step up from a strip joint, Sydney's new hairdressing salon, "Hot Cuts", is a boys only hairdressers where all the female hairdressing staff are topless.
Oh please!
A quick read of their website gave me a few more laughs because they chucked in the flatscreen tv and beer in the mix to create the perfect male atmosphere.
There are so many things I could say about this place...all of which you know are not going to be good, but hey! Let's debate it!

It is sexist, but if the women are getting a very good wage, good on them I say.

ReplyDeleteOdds are the women working there will be getting paid bucketloads though so if they are, more power to them.
OMG, That's going a little too far for a cut right? Is the toplessness and the uh..'pampering' included in the price?
ReplyDeleteYou could make a fortune if you held stag parties there. LOL.
Maybe it's a way to charge high prices for a cut and products - while the guys are goggling away, the cashier can add another zero to the price and the guy would pay it over, none the wiser.
