CALLING ALL AUSTRALIAN BEAUTY JUNKIES!

Quick post to ask any Aussie readers which Australian beauty products you would recommend? Would LOVE to hear from some of my Aussie readers and get your advice on what products and shades are popular at the moment! Am particularly interested in your drugstore brands ;)

Any help would be much appreciated :)

  1. When we are talking Aussie makeup brands, two come to mind, Becca and Natio.
Natio is available is the UK I believe and does skin and body care products as well for a very good price. Becca is much higher end and famous for her concealers.
Nude by Nature and Inika are also Aussie mineral companies that are popular!

We still get all the same releases from the Higher end international brands as you do, just a few months later (or earlier sometimes!).

Most girls and women walking down the street dont wear a lot of makeup, just base, mascara and bronzer/blush. Bronzer is quite popular here!!

The place to go for beauty purchases is Priceline, equivalent to Superdrug Id say, check it out at Priceline.com.au and have a look at what we pay for a Revlon foundation!!!!!

  2. @ Tea - aw thanks SO much! Website link is much appreciated...going to have a peek now :)
We do indeed have Natio and Becca, with the later being so expensive here!

Are there any drugstore brands you'd particularly recommend? Skincare or makeup?

  3. For skincare Id say Sukin which is found in Priceline and some Chemists. The majority of the facial range is $10 and thats as cheap as your going to get here haha

  4. "Australis" is the first one that comes to mind. I'm guessing (due to the name, and the fact I never see any reviews on blogs) that this is pretty much an Aussie "exclusive" brand.
Similar sort of price etc as revlon, maybeline, rimel and cover girl, and maybe a touch more aimed towards a younger market.
